If you are lucky enough to be dining at Coconuts on a Tuesday or Friday like we were, you will be greeted by the smell of fresh paella being prepared out on the deck. Request a table by the intercoastal for the ultimate coconuts experience. Try some ½ off appetizers and discounted drinks during happy hour for an awesome casual experience or if celebrating a special occasion, order a seafood tower, the fish of the day and the best appetizer in town are the SCOOBIES!

Coconuts Waterside Grill is a fun casual dining experience especially if you can arrive by boat via the intracoastal. Start out with a tropical drink special and be sure to order the Scoobies Blue Crab appetizer. It comes in a very flavorful sauce made of olive oil, butter, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes and scallions. They also give you some extra bread to soak up that wonderful concoction. I always like to try the specials and since we were one the water we went with the seafood specials. Two of us tried the bacon and truffle scallops that were cooked perfectly. The bacon and truffle reduction did not overpower the scallops, but gave them a wonderful flavor. Accompanying the scallop was an arugula salad with a fresh vinaigrette dressing. The other two in our party had the Cobia and crab special. The fish was cooked nicely and the portion was ample. We finished up sharing two deserts, a key lime pie and a cookie ice cream sandwich. The staff was very friendly and attentive answering all of our questions. The atmosphere was casual with opportunities to dine inside or outside. There is a nice view of the sunset across the intracoastal. Prices were high moderate to expensive depending on your order. Dress was casual and the food good and worth a visit if you have not been to Coconuts in a long time.

Love that they have complimentary valet. Seated immediately and menu brought promptly. Specials were read to me as well. Food came out quick but the oysters and sashimi could've been more chilled, in my opinion.
