When we entered the restaurant, we were asked if we made reservations which, unfortunately we didn’t.  The room was not full at the time and she was able to immediately seat us.  Unfortunately, our table was very close to the entrance.  As the evening progressed the restaurant filled up with only a handful of tables near the bar left empty.  It took about 5-10 minutes before our drink orders were taken.  I ordered tap water and my husband ordered a sangria.  Unfortunately, there were not enough servers to handle the capacity of the room.  In total, there were about three people waiting tables including the bar tender.  We ordered Spinach and artichoke dip with chips for our appetizer.  It was very good.  The chips were homemade and had a puffiness to them.  They were delicious.  For dinner we ordered salmon with zucchini spaghetti and shrimp scampi with zucchini noodles.  Both dishes were very good.  For dessert we ordered salted caramel cake and the bread pudding.  The salted caramel cake was tasty buy somewhat dry. The bread pudding was moist and quite delicious.  We stayed for a while to listen to the entertainment:  Victor Valdez on keyboard and vocals.  He was the highlight of the evening!  He was able to bring a noisy crowd of diners to full attention as he sang and took requests from the audience.  His repertoire is vast.  We would probably go back to Gatsby’s Joint while making sure to make reservations.

A small, but cozy place with seating feet from the stage. The waiter and bartender struggled to keep up, with the manager (it think) helping out some tables too. Laughed a lot, drinks were good, so the slow service at the end wasn’t really a big deal as the entertainment was nonstop. When we did finally get our check, we paid it online which was quick

We entered the parking lot and to my surprise , there was a large area in the lot roped off by white lights with many tables and chairs for parties of four. We said we had reservations for inside and went inside to the bar for a drink. Our table was occupied by four ladies. Kind of loud music was playing but it was ok. I had never been to Gatsby’s on a Saturday night. I wanted to hear different entertainment as I usually go for happy hour or on Tuesdays. It was easy to figure out what happened this Saturday night. It was the night before valentine’s day. They had so many reservations that they wouldn’t be able to fit all safely in the restaurant. Candles on outside tables as well as music. However, I don’t like to eat in a parking lot with 4 lanes of cars going by! Matteo came over , very friendly. He brought a large bottle of water for the table. We ordered four appetizers which came out quickly and hot. The ribs were the favorite, then Brussel sprouts, perogies then the dates that I love! We were pretty full after the apps but wanted to taste more food. The guys ordered “the big sloppy” medium rare and it came out perfect. My shrimp scampi was very good, many shrimp, buttery, not overly garlicy. We were all full and just ordered coffee afterwards. Matteo did turn off the inside music and we could hear the piano player/singer. This entertainer was very good, very funny and had his large audience engaged. Had our coffee and left. We had a nice evening!
