Leftovers is located in an attractive shopping center and they take no reservations. If you come at peak times, expect a wait - that is worth it! We arrived at a lull time on a Tuesday to avoid a crowd (coronavirus) and wow. We were seated immediately in one of two patios, even though there was no one there. Other restaurants might have said “we’re not seating there”. From the opening moment to our departure, the server and manager wanted to take care of us. While my wife took half of her entrée to go, I had every bite. Incredibly full! We split one dessert, knowing tres leches is sinfully delicious (fresh strawberries and blueberries + clotted cream on the side). It was, too. The presentation of every dish was appealing and inviting. Literally every bite was special and super delicious.

The strip mall was a bit hidden but found the place quickly. Walked in and sat down quickly with temporary outside setup. Our server, Anthony, was the best - -he has a passion for the food  and restaurant – represents them well We discussed the menu items and he guided us and answered all of our questions as well as providing direction/recommendations. Everything we ate was TOP NOTCH – original and different… very creative recipes and flavors. The mussels also had an awesome flavor profile… tomato and pineapple with the broth – yum! Our entrees – grouper cheeks with sweet potato crust. Order your fish with the sweet potato crust – so good and original. The Inorini (mac and cheese) was so good. Anthony brought us the pickle side dish just because we inquired about it to taste. They make them at the restaurant – so good. For dessert we had the stoners delight – decedent, yet not overbearing… perfect balance. The Coconut Tres Leches is worth the calories. We will be back… absolutely loved this place!

When turning into the parking lot, I quickly found a parking space in the plaza.   The doorway was so offbeat – that I actually thought it was an under construction entrance.  The hosts very quickly walked us to our table and wait staff was very knowledgeable and quick.  I loved that our particularly waiter was willing to offer recommendations when he found we were knew.  He thought we would like the Leftovers style for the Sprouts as opposed to the BBQ and recommended the onion soup highly.  I appreciated that he was enthusiastic about the sweet potato crusted fish after I stated I loved corvina.   The portions were huge and we both took home half of our entrees.  As noted, if I lived closer, this would be my “go to” place at least once or more per week.   LOVED THIS CHOICE!
