Perfectly cooked shrimp, melt in your mouth filet and pasta. There was a great steak bar where the chef cooked the steak in front of guests. Lots of nice woodwork and paddle fans. My filet was cooked to perfection, (medium well) wrapped in bacon. The sweet potato was out of this world! Served with a side of butter and cinnamon. My wife Gloria’s food was also amazing. Great overall experience! Great food!

From the moment you pull into Tropical Acres you know you are in for a throwback experience, and it does not disappoint. Our favorites were the mushroom caps, filled with a seafood stuffing and coated with a delectable hollandaise sauce, and the coconut shrimp, crisp and yummy with a sweet dipping sauce. The entrée comes with salad and a side. It’s a classic steakhouse experience with great service, consistent food, and very reasonable prices. I can easily see how it would become a ‘go to’ favorite for so many fans

This was my first visit to Tropical Acres and I looked forward to dining at this South Florida institution. My husband and I brought our sons as well since they are steak lovers. The restaurant is very large with banquet facilities for special events. Self- parking is the only option and it is abundant. As we walked in, I immediately felt the charm and warmth. We ordered several filet mignons and I ordered the Broiled Seafood Platter (crab cake, shrimp, scallops and cobia). All of the entrees came with a choice of a house salad or Caesar salad. The filets ranged from $29-36, which is a great value for a complete meal. Tropical Acres is known for its house made cheesecake. The desserts are presented in an elegant large rolling glass case. They did look tantalizing and are a must for our next visit.
